• Axar Patel: 128 IPL wickets and now the captain. He has always been reliable with the ball but what makes him dangerous is that he can hurt you with the bat too now. Ekana suits spin and Axar knows it.
• KL Rahul: Seven 500-plus run IPL seasons. That is just consistency at a level most batters never reach. He scored 539 runs in 2025 at an average of 53.90 and DC’s top order looks completely different when he is in and settled.
• Kuldeep Yadav: Slow pitch, Ekana, chasing or defending — Kuldeep is dangerous in all of it. 16 wickets in 2024 and that wrist spin still does not get any easier to pick. DC will throw the ball to him when they need a wicket badly.
• Tristan Stubbs: Not everyone talks about him but the numbers are serious. Average of 54.60 and strike rate of 193.62 at home in 2025. If this match goes down to the wire, Stubbs is exactly the kind of batter DC want at the crease.
