Cricket fans witnessed history as South Africa Women by beating England Women’s in semifinal match ICC Women’s ICC World cup 2025. SA-W Won the match by 125 runs.
This is the first time ever South Africa have qualified for an ODI World Cup final – Men’s or Women’s.South Africa Women have now qualified for their third straight World Cup final (ODI + T20I combined), after reaching the finals in the previous two T20 World Cups.

A captain and Player of the match by standing in front taking team to the victory with incredible batting 169 runs in just 143 balls, 20 boundaries and 4 sixes. She proved herself as best skipper and batter in Worlds cricket history. As skipper she balanced the team in the field by restricting England women’s for 194 runs making all out in 42.3 overs while they were chasing. By this victory Laura created history first ever slipper to take South Africa cricket into in the finals in WODI.

With the new ball in hand, she ripped through England’s top order, removing both openers in her first over.
By the end of her spell, Kapp had taken 5 wickets for 20 runs, leaving England gasping at 1/3 inside the powerplay.
Nat Sciver-Brunt 64 runs and Alice Capsey 50 runs staged a brief resistance, but it was never enough. England’s chase folded at 194, undone by South Africa’s relentless intensity and clinical teamwork.
